Doctors, nurses and staff were outstanding. They were so friendly and attentive to my needs. Even though I was stunned by my diagnosis, they took the time to explain my situation in terms I could easily understand and gave me hope for a positive outcome. The resource coordinator and dietitian both worked with me to ensure that I had information, contact names, and the nutritional supplements I needed to stay strong. The chemo department is a relaxing environment for patients and is very comfortable, including the snacks! My treatment has inspired me to volunteer at the Cancer Center and help others in this same situation.
